Early on
I moved all the time when I was a kid because of my dad’s job. I felt lonely. Like an outsider at each new school. Have you ever felt that way? So I went to the library and read books. What adventures I had. What friends I made. Reading makes all the difference.
Current
Now I have a Ph.D. in American Literature and Film and teach creative writing to college students. I like to write books that empower girls who find their purpose in life and are led by it. I know the power of reading and prove with every book that reading can be fun. Literacy is important. So important that I give a portion of profits to literacy charities.
